The two got along well with one another and while on a walk in Manhattan, they apparently stopped traffic with onlookers asking if a collaboration was in the works. I wasn't interested in Page/Coverdale show because Coverdale had long been (wrongly) dismissed by many as a Plant rip-off. And I was disappointed that Page chose to validate those claims. But I did see Coverdale live with Whitesnake before grunge was a thing.
