S1.E1 ∙ Buffy. Mon, Sep 12, 1966. Bill Davis, owner of a successful construction company, is entertaining a date at his New York apartment. Then, Buffy, his niece and daughter of his dead brother, is brought to him. Bill is ambivalent about taking on this responsibility.

Brian Keith stars as bachelor Bill Davis, a highly-paid engineering consultant who lives in a posh Manhattan apartment with his proper English manservant, Mr. Giles French.
Season 1 (1966–67) After returning from Egypt, Uncle Bill deals with orphaned niece Buffy being abandoned at his residence; later, while Uncle Bill leaves on a trip to Peru, Buffy's siblings Jody and Cissy arrive to complete the family.
