The Manster is basically a midlife crisis drama bookended by b-movie monster schlock. It's a bit too on-the-nose at times with its duality of men hypothesis (I mean, it's in the title), but the manster bits are imaginative and daring, especially for a 1950s movie, so genre fans should have a good time with it. Almost a 4 star movie.
