Esher situated towards the north of Surrey, close to London, is a historic town with a delightful Tudor Church and bustling attractive high street. The town’s high street has numerous cafes and restaurants to sample. Set just behind the shops is a picturesque green.
Esher is located in the county of Surrey, South East England, three miles south-east of the town of Walton-on-Thames, nine miles north-east of the major town of Woking, and 14 miles south-west of London. Esher lies two miles south-west of the Greater London border.
Esher Common is split in two by the main road the A307 which runs between Esher And Cobham. It quite an expansive area which is mainly wooded with a picturesque pond on the north side. Plenty of good walks which in the main involved some smaller hills.
