    Barletta (Italian pronunciation: ⓘ; Salentino: Varrétte or Barlétte) is a city and former comune in Apulia, in southeastern Italy. Barletta is the capoluogo, together with Andria and Trani, of the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. It has a population of around 94,700 citizens. The city's territory belongs to the Valle dell'Ofanto.
