While I enjoyed, Desplat’s score for the first one, other than the main theme it wasn’t particularly memorable. Listening to “Old Rivals” and “Godzilla”, all my problems with the music in the first one are gone.

Gareth Edwards and Alexandre Desplat almost returned for KOTM but Edwards left to work on Rogue One and smaller scale projects and Desplat left because he had a good working relationship with Edwards so he left as well lol. I'm honestly glad Dougherty and McCreary were hired for KOTM (though I was skeptical about McCreary at first lol).

Godzilla vs. Kong is currently scheduled to be released in theaters nationwide on November 20, 2020 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
