Janet (Kirsten Robek) is the hidden main villainess from the 2016 TV film, Murder, She Baked: A Deadly Recipe, the fourth film of Hallmark Movie Channel's Murder, She Baked series (airdate June 19, 2016). She is a receptionist for the Eden Lake Police Department.
Janet was also in love with town sheriff Jim Grant, and she served as a means of emotional support for Jim following the death of his son, Peter. It was during the time that passed that Janet's feelings for Jim developed, but she made up a fictitious boyfriend--Brad--to hide her affections. Once Jim's marriage to Nettie was on the verge of ending, Janet arranged a meeting with Jim, and it was at that moment that she revealed that she made up Brad and revealed her love for him, stating that they were meant to be together. Jim turned down Janet's affections, and after this, Janet grabbed a brick and struck Jim's head, killing him in a fit of rage.
