Players must select five main numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25 to enter the drawings. Mega Millions also offers players the chance to include the Megaplier on their ticket for an additional $1 entry fee. The Megaplier works by multiplying all non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4 or 5x, depending on which Megaplier number is drawn.
For example, if you win the $1 million second-tier prize in Mega Millions, and the Megaplier number drawn is 5, your prize would be a whopping $5 million if you purchased the Megaplier for just $1 extra!
