RLCraft v2.9 is a major update to RLCraft adding new Nether biomes, the Quark mod, Quests, Hats, and a cave overhaul. It was released on December 21, 2021.
- Updated to latest Forge to patch Log4j exploit
- Quests. Different optional quests to complete, with comsetic hats as rewards.
- Tough as Nails replaced with Simple Difficulty. Bringing tons of features and enhancements to drinking and thirst, HUD elements, temperature mechanics, and more
- Taming system, mounts, pets, and saddles completely overhauled
- Spartan Weaponry received a full rebalance of all weapons, including melee, ranged, and throwing weapons.
- Armor received a full rebalance in how damage reduction is applied to locations and how that reduction is scaled between different tiers of armor
