If you drove directly from Cancun airport to SMB, I'd guess you'd be looking at about a 40 minute drive. If your package company uses a large bus that, on that particular day, makes many stops before your resort, then I would expect it to take over an hour.

May 28, 2024 · Does anyone have any advice on getting from the Cancun airport to Secrets Maroma or any hotel in the Riviera Maya? The taxi option ranged around $72. Is there a bus for $8 US that goes from Cancun to Playa and then take a cab from there? We are getting in around 9pm, so we also need to know if the bus, taxi, etc is still operating. Thanks!
