The Great Spa Towns of Europe were inscribed onto the UNESCO World Heritage list on 24th July 2021, making Bath a rare double-nominated World Heritage Site. The inscription is a ‘transnational serial’ nomination involving 11 spa towns from 7 different countries, led by the government of Czechia (Czech Republic).
