having the rider one shot every villain is a strange choice as it deflates all the action, there's no threat as a result, this is an issue with ghost rider in general as he's absurdly tanky but in the film no one can really do anything to him apart from blackheart.
I'm willing to bet there are good stories that have been told with Ghost Rider among every incarnation. Trouble is Marvel has not pushed them out into the forefront like so many other characters they clearly try to promote.
Oct 4, 2020 · Unfortunately, while the comics are extremely dark, the movie adaptation of Ghost Rider took a decidedly more campy approach, which didn’t land well with most reviewers. The film currently holds a 26% on Rotten Tomatoes, but has a 5.2/10 on IMDB and a 90% approval rating on Google reviews.
The movie isn't all that bad. Ghost Rider is no Elektra, Punisher War Zone, Daredevil, or Spider man 3 but it's not that much better either. Director Mark Steven Johnson does an okay job of bringing Ghost Rider to big screen but the bad outweighs the good in this one. I'll get back to that later.
