Overall a pretty decent place, but nothing special. Generally pretty safe, a couple of slightly rough areas, but nothing compared to what you'd get inside Birmingham. Nightlife, pretty dull for clubs as a town by a big city generally is, but the pubs are good.

Aug 22, 2021 · Yeah, Redditch is pretty grim unless you’ve got a fetish for traffic roundabouts. Alvechurch, Barnt Green, Lickey are nice. I live in Droitwich, the town itself is quiet and the shopping isn't great but it has nice walks, the lido, and easy access to Birmingham and Worcester. It also has really good schools.
