  4. Jun 7, 2016 · Half day trip to climb Śnieżka 2 hours up and 1,5 down (on black trail). Quite steep at the beginning, continuous uphill climb. Trail pleasant I recommend to rather fond of walking and accustomed to trekking (necessary good trekking shoes and jacket, because at the top is very windy) or snowy.

  7. Nov 7, 2018 · Sněžka is the highest one and we share a peak with our polish neighbor. The history of this place from the perspective of Czech- Polish relations is also interesting. You can find here about a 27 km long hiking trail of Czech-Polish friendship that leads just on the border and crosses the peak of Sněžka as well.

  8. Dec 2, 2021 · A nice hiking destination during the week. 1603 m asl, in favorable weather conditions the visibility is 200 km. Unfortunately, only the kiosk on the Czech side is still open. The Sächsische Zeitung reported on December 28, 2021 that the restaurant on the Polish side should reopen in 2025.
