  1. Supposedly, Desiderio and Postal 2 director Steve Wik pitched a much grittier, darker version of the Postal story, but Boll rejected it, fully intent on turning it into a comedy in order to use the film as a platform for political satire as well as "revenge" against the people who have protested his movies.

  3. At its core, Postal is a satire on the United States, as done by a twelve year old kid. Boll seems to think that offensiveness is linearly proportional to comedic value: the more offensive, the funnier, and the more exaggerated the funnier. This results in a movie that sets new levels of tastelessness while being extremely hit and miss.

  6. Postal is a crass satire with juvenile humor and over the top video game violence. If anything, the protagonist gets mocked and emasculated more than anyone else in the games. I agree, I interpreted a lot of the racial stereotypes in the game as satire of how some people see the world.

  7. Discussion. I finally watched the postal movie. Let's just say that I had some very mixed feelings about it. I really liked the over the top offensive humor. They had the postal type of humor perfected. Definetly got a few good laughs out of it. That's about the only good point I could say about it.
