    • Ashes to Ashes. Ashes to Ashes is a spin-off from the excellent Life on Mars, which saw John Sims as Sam Tyler, a Manchester cop in the 2000s who gets hit by a car and winds up as a Manchester cop in the '70s, dealing with the racism, sexism, and generally lax attitudes towards smoking, drinking, and police work, all while trying to get back to his present.
    • The Bay. Scottish actress Morven Christie stars as Detective Sergeant LIsa Armstrong, a single mom in Lancashire.
