Largo is the third largest city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States, as well as the fourth largest in the Tampa Bay area. As of the 2020 Census, the city had a population of 82,485, [ 4 ] up from 77,648 in 2010 .

Largo Map. Largo is the third largest city in Pinellas County, Florida, USA and is part of the Tampa Bay Area. Centrally located, it is the crossroads of the county. As of the 2000 census, the City had a total population of 69,371. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 71,704. Largo was first incorporated in 1905.
Largo facilities include three recreation centers, two aquatic centers, an executive golf course, a performing arts center, and an environmental education nature center with programs available for children, teens, adults and active adults.
Largo is Sunshine State suburbia, with residential neighborhoods and small businesses aplenty. Yet locals and savvy visitors know there’s another side to the city - a natural side, with botanical gardens, parks, miles of walking trails and public golf courses to enjoy.

Largo citrus was being shipped by the ton to eager customers in the North. The town was officially incorporated in 1905, and in 1913 became the first town in Florida - and second in the nation - to adopt a town manager form of government.
