It is written, directed, created, edited, and produced by comedian Louis C.K., [3] who also stars in the show as a fictionalized version of himself, a comedian and newly divorced father raising his two daughters in New York City.
His next writing job was on Late Show with David Letterman in 1995, and directed a series of shorts for Howie Mandel's Sunny Skies on television, followed by acting as head writer for The Dana Carvey Show (1997) and a writer on The Chris Rock Show (1997–1999).
