Darnell is the primary antagonist of WeekEnd 1. His tracks include Darnell, Lit Up, 2hot, and Blazin'. He is the fourth guest character introduced to Friday Night Funkin', the first being Skid and Pump, the second being Pico, the third being Tankman, and the fifth being Nene.

During Week 5, Darnell's appearance is simplified and brightened, looking similar to how he appears in the Pico series. His hair is black, and he wears a purple shirt with yellow sleeves as well as red sneakers with pink shoelaces and soles.
Blazin' is the first and currently only song with a scroll speed greater than 3 in one of its difficulties. The idles for Pico and Darnell are based on the idle poses of certain Street Fighter characters. Darnell's pose seems to most closely resemble the shotos (Ryu, Ken, Akuma), while Pico's seems to most closely resemble Guile.
