    Season 3 is the third season of Falling Skies. It was announced July 11, 2012 that TNT had renewed Falling Skies for third season that will air during the summer of 2013, with an order of 10 episodes. It premiered June 9th in a 2-hour premiere .

    The third season on DVD and Blu-ray was released June 3rd, 2014 in the United States and Canada, will be released July 7th in Europe, and June 11th in Mexico, Central and South America, and Australia.

    •Hal was an Espheni mole under the control of an Espheni eyeworm, which was removed with help from the rebel Skitters.

    •The new aliens revealed at the end of A More Perfect Union and their allegiances. They were eventually revealed to be allies of the humans, however by the end of the season the relationship is now strained due to the Volm's treatment of the human resistance.
