    is an American reality competition series produced by World of Wonder for Logo TV and later VH1 and Now MTV. It is also the subject of this wiki. Drag superstar RuPaul is the host, mentor, main judge and inspiration for this series, which details RuPaul's search for "America's Next Drag Superstar"

    The show was greenlit in May 2008 and premiered on February 2, 2009, on Logo in the US. The show has been aired on Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latin America, Spain, Sweden, the Philippines, and the UK; the streaming service Netflix has from Season 11 to Season 13 available on their online contents in many countries.

    There have been fifteen seasons to date, eight All Stars seasons, and also nineteen seasons of Untucked (14 for the regular seasons and 5 for All Stars). There have also been 15 International Spinoffs in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia.

    The show was marked as the most-watched series on Logo in its first season, and it became the most streamed series ever on LogoTV.com during its second.

    The title of the show is a play on drag queen and racing, with the title sequence and theme song "Drag Race - Original Theme", both having a "drag racing" theme.

    The ninth season of this show moved from the Logo TV Network to VH1, with Logo TV still airing the episodes, but the week after it will originally air on VH1.

    In addition to RuPaul, each season of Drag Race has featured two other regular judges. Additionally, almost every episode has guest judges who only appear in that episode.

    RuPaul's Drag Race Untucked

    RuPaul's Drag Race Untucked, or simply Untucked, is a companion series that airs after the main series. The focus of the series is footage of the queens' conversations while backstage during the judges' deliberations. Sometimes there is also bonus footage from the workroom or runway.

    RuPaul's Drag U

    RuPaul's Drag U is a spin-off that ran from 2010 to 2012. In each episode, three women were paired with former Drag Race contestants, now known as "Drag Professors", who give them drag makeovers and help them to access their "inner divas".

    RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars

    All Stars is the sister series to RuPaul's Drag Race and premiered on October 22, 2012. The series showcases past contestants from RuPaul's Drag Race, as they compete to become immortalized in the Drag Race Hall of Fame and a cash prize of $200,000 (initially $100.000).

    The Switch Drag Race

    The Switch Drag Race, or simply The Switch, is a Chilean reality drag competition show and the Chilean version of RuPaul's Drag Race. It is hosted by Karla Constant and premiered on October 8, 2015. It ended with its second and last season on July 15, 2018.

    Drag Race Thailand

    Drag Race Thailand is the Thai version of RuPaul's Drag Race. It is hosted by Art Arya and Pangina Heals and premiered on February 15, 2018. Its second season ended on April 5, 2019.

    RuPaul's Drag Race UK

    RuPaul's Drag Race UK is the British version of RuPaul's Drag Race. It is the first foreign installment of the franchise to be hosted by RuPaul. It premiered on October 3, 2019. Its second season ended on March 18, 2021. Its third season ended on November 25, 2021. Its fourth season ended on November 24, 2022.
