    • Mechanical Isolation. Mechanical isolation—the incompatibility of sexual organs—is probably the simplest way to stop individuals from reproducing with each other.
    • Temporal Isolation. Different species tend to have different breeding seasons. The timing of female fertility cycles can result in temporal isolation.
