I know all the controversy behind this episode in American fandom, but to coin a phrase, I think maybe "racism is in the eye of the beholder". To recap: the Enteprise visits a planet where society has a very retrograde view on women.

  7. Code of Honor really was a WTF moment in Star Trek history. After reading up about it, turns out the original race of aliens were suppose to be reptilian. If the episode had stuck with with original idea of lizard like men, i kinda think it wouldn't have been so bad. It would still be a bad episode, but not has terrible as what exist now.
