    Cliff Emmich (December 13, 1938) guest starred on Little House on the Prairie TV series as John Bevins, husband of Bess Bevins, both friends of the Ingalls family, in the Season 5 episode "The Man Inside" (episode #4).

    Films

    Emmich made his film debut in the 1968 movie Gaily Gaily. His biggest role was as Chicago, the flunky driver for Rip Torn, in the 1972 cult film Payday. He is best remembered as the security guard murdered by Michael Myers in the 1981 horror sequel Halloween II. His most recent film roles are in the 1999 films Inspector Gadget and Treehouse Hostage.

    Emmich has also made guest appearances in many television shows ranging from The Odd Couple, Starsky and Hutch, The Incredible Hulk, CHiPs, Knight Rider, Night Court and Walker, Texas Ranger. Emmich has stated that his guest role as John Bevins in the Season 5 episode "The Man Inside" was his very favorite. In 2007, Emmich guest starred on the hit NBC drama Crossing Jordan. He also played "The Candy Man" on ABC-TV sitcom series Happy Days in the episode, "Fonzie's Funeral".
