     What do you mean by mvc4 templates? I'm assuming you mean "website template". With MVC you can use any html template, there's no specific template for MVC (that's why you're not finding any of it). You just find any website template and adapt it to mvc context (put css and images under "Content" folder and put html code in _layout and use it like masterpage), not hard to do at all. In fact, so easy to do after you get the idea that no one publish a specific adapted version :)

     Just put it in the runtime classpath or add its path to the runtime classpath.

     How to do it depends on how you're executing the program. If you're using java command in command console to execute a .class file, then use the -cp argument to specify the paths to classes and/or JAR files which are to be taken in the classpath. The classpath is basically a collection of absolute/relative disk file system paths where Java has to look for JAR files and classes.

     Assuming that you've downloaded a .zip, you need to extract it and then look for a .jar file (usually in a /lib folder). For starters, it's the easiest to put the .jar in the current working directory and then execute your program (with the Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"); line) as follows:

     java -cp .:mysql.jar com.example.YourClass-

     The . signifies the current path and the : is the separator (which I believe is correct for Ubuntu, on Windows it's ;).

     According to Vagrant Documentation under Provisioning, the documentation implies that puppet is on my host machine and when I run vagrant up vagrant will look for my manifests and modules on my host environment.

     I am not sure where is the confusion but let me try to clarify.

     Puppet like all provisioner runs on the guest (actually the only exception is the Ansible provisioner and even for Ansible, the vagrant team has since launched the Ansible local which runs directly on the guest) so when you have a puppet provisioner :

     • vagrant will try to install puppet on the guest VM (if its not already available)
     • vagrant will copy the manifest and module files from the host to the guest (generally they will be available on the guest at /tmp/vagrant-puppet ... )

     so lets look at a given puppet config (a really usual one)

     config.vm.provision :puppet do |puppet| puppet.manifests_path = "puppet/manifests" puppet.manifest_file = "site.pp" puppet.module_path = "puppet/modules" puppet.hiera_config_path = "puppet/hiera.yaml"end-

     on my host, I do have the following structure

     .project-directory||---- Vagrantfile||---- puppet |-------- hiera.yaml |-------- manifests |------- base-app.pp |-------- modules |------- ...modules... if any-

     when you do vagrant up:

     puppet apply --modulepath '/tmp/vagrant-puppet/modules-b14a7087a41f2cfba87af62658880213:/etc/puppet/modules' --manifestdir /tmp/vagrant-puppet/manifests-846018e2aa141a5eb79a64b4015fc5f3 /tmp/vagrant-puppet/manifests-846018e2aa141a5eb79a64b4015fc5f3/site.pp-

     • vagrant will install puppet if its not available on the guest
     • vagrant will share the puppet/modules folder from the host to the guest /tmp/vagrant-puppet/modules-b14a7087a41f2cfba87af62658880213
     • vagrant will share the puppet/manifests folder from the host to the guest /tmp/vagrant-puppet/manifests-846018e2aa141a5eb79a64b4015fc5f3
     • if provisioner needs to be run (first vagrant up or provisioner flag pass on the CLI) vagrant will execute puppet on the guest the following command : puppet apply --modulepath '/tmp/vagrant-puppet/modules-b14a7087a41f2cfba87af62658880213:/etc/puppet/modules' --manifestdir /tmp/vagrant-puppet/manifests-846018e2aa141a5eb79a64b4015fc5f3 /tmp/vagrant-puppet/manifests-846018e2aa141a5eb79a64b4015fc5f3/site.pp

     so you can see everything is installed on the guest and run on the guest, you only need to maintain on the host the puppet config and modules that will be installed on the guest.

     Have you installed npm? take a look at this => https://docs.npmjs.com/cli/v6/commands/npm-init

     Try to follow these: (you need to install npm on your project, if done properly you should see package.json inside your project)

     • Open terminal (iTerm) or Windows Terminal
     • cd to the project from terminal. Example: cd Sites/my-project
     • on this project you can type npm i frosted-glass

     If npm confuses you, you can try to include frosted-glass using <script src='https://unpkg.com/frosted-glass/dist/frostedglass.js'></script>
