Originally called the Adelphean Society, Alpha Delta Pi was founded on May 15, 1851, in Macon, Georgia, at Wesleyan Female College. It was the first secret society for women in the world and paved the way for today’s sorority system.
We are the Beta Beta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi, located at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Our chapter was founded on UTC’s campus on May 21, 1926. As Adelphean women, we believe our sorority is more than a symbol or ritual.
