Bishop Stopford School is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Kettering, Northamptonshire, England. The school is located in the Headlands, Kettering. The current headteacher is Jill Silverthorne. Former students of Bishop Stopford are known as Old Stopfordians.
Bishop Stopford’s is a Church of England school open to all students. Our mission is to provide first rate teaching, learning and extra-curricular activities within a caring and supportive Christian environment.
Bishop Stopford's School, commonly known as Bishop Stopford's, or (simply) just Bishop's, is a voluntary aided co-educational secondary school specialising in mathematics, computing and engineering, with a sixth form.

School Information. Our school dates back to 1535, when the rector of St Peter and St Paul directed one of his curates to "instruct boys of the parish". The Church of England went on to establish four more schools in Kettering including the parochial school which was opened in 1819 in the Horsemarket.
