Mar 9, 2022 · Kuju Flower Park is one of Kyushu's top flower parks with over 500 flower varieties blooming from April to October.
This large park is located at the base of the Kuju Mountains in western Oita Prefecture, a short drive from Kurokawa Onsen and Mt. Aso. It features more than 500 different varieties of flowers and plants, creating colorful carpets of flowers across the hills, in every season except for deepest winter.
The spacious park covers 49 acres of land with wide paths leading through various flower fields, featuring species such as lavender, salvia, blue berries, pink moss, tulips, sunflowers and poppies. On clear days, visitors can enjoy lovely views of flowers with the Kuju Mountain Range in the backdrop.
The flower park is located in Aso-Kuju National Park, in the heart of Kyushu. From spring to autumn, over 500 varieties and 5 million plants are displayed. e.g.. salvia and cosmos in autumn. It is expansive.
