These were found in Gibson guitars from late 1988 - early 1990. They came standard in ES-335s, SGs, Les Paul Customs and Les Paul Standards. The HB-R reads 7.23k and the HB-L reads 8.98k.

  6. Mar 12, 2020 · I'd think they're ceramic magnets and believe there are 2 versions of these BL design pickups with different outputs. I'm unsure if they were intentionally designated to particular guitars. I've owned an '89 Custom since new which has the high output version, in the 12-14K range if I recall.
