    Jean-Marc Lofficier (born 22 June 1954; age 69) is a French author of books about television programs and films and a comic book writer. With his wife, Randy Lofficier, he helped found Hollywood Comics, an agency for comic writers and artists for movies and television. During the 1980s he and his wife were free-lance correspondents for the magazine Starlog for which they submitted numerous articles and interviews, a portion of those Star Trek related.

    With his wife, he was one of the interviewers credited in the Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home - The Official Movie Magazine, and they were credited with writing the story "Mudd's Pets" in Malibu Comics' Star Trek: Deep Space Nine issues 26 and 27 "Genesis Denied, Part I" and "Genesis Denied, Part II". They also devised the plot for "Mudd's Magic!" from DC Comics, but were uncredited for their work.
