Harold T. "Harry" Stone is a presiding judge for night court at Manhattan criminal court on the NBC comedy series Night Court. The part of Judge Stone is played by Harry Anderson. Harry is basically a young, good-humored judge and amateur magician whose parents were former mental patients.
The show is set in the night shift of a Manhattan Criminal Court presided over by a young, unorthodox judge, Harold "Harry" T. Stone (portrayed by Harry Anderson ), and was created by comedy writer Reinhold Weege, who had previously worked on Barney Miller in the 1970s and early 1980s.
