Apr 13, 2024 · I've been buying used CDs lately and it seems that a lot of them are music club CDs. I'd say 90% of the club ones are from BMG. Very few are from Columbia House. Why is that?

Hull, music clubs paid between $1.50 and $5.50 for a CD, which they then sold for $16. He reports that if the clubs sold one out of every three discs, they'd make close to $8 in profit.
