Project XX wouldn’t be the first raunchy comedy to pivot from having a male-led cast to a female-led cast in the sequel as it’s become a pretty well-known trend in Hollywood.

Feb 21, 2024 · I think it’s imperative to reference the original Project X to get fans to buy in. Another issue is that it’s a female-led cast. I have no issue with it being female-led. It’s just that this formula hasn’t worked in the past.
