Worksop (/ ˈ w ɜːr k s ɒ p / WURK-sop) is a market town in the Bassetlaw District in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located 15 miles (24 km) south of Doncaster, 15 miles (24 km) south-east of Sheffield and 24 miles (39 km) north of Nottingham.
- Creswell Crags. On Worksop’s west flank is an enclosed magnesian limestone gorge, something to behold in its own right, but also layered with human history dating back 43,000 years.
- Clumber Park. Owned by the National Trust since 1946, Clumber Park used to be the seat of the Dukes of Newcastle, who abandoned the property in the early 20th century.
