The 10th Armored Division (nicknamed "Tiger Division") was an armored division of the United States Army in World War II. In the European Theater of Operations the 10th Armored Division was part of both the Twelfth United States Army Group and Sixth United States Army Group.

Jan 7, 2021 · The US 10th Armored Division was activated on July 15, 1942, at Fort Benning (Georgia), and moved on June 24, 1943, to the Second Army #2 Tennessee Maneuvres. On September 5, the 10-AD moved to Camp Gordon (Georgia), then, staged at Camp Shanks (New York), on September 1, 1944, until departed the New York POE.
