There are three named parameters, all optional: 1. |date=– date of placement; a bot will add this later if omitted 2. |reason=– to override the default value shown in the tooltip 3. |time=yes– this change the superscript note to 'timestamp needed' instead of 'page needed' (and also changes the default tooltip reason similarly)
