Jun 2, 2006 · The s/c Frontier truck is OK. But even the newer Frontiers with the 4.0 can easily blow the doors off a stock s/c truck. In my opinon the S/C 3.3 was just a band-aid for hp, because all the other car makers were offering more hp for the small trucks crowd. Nissan finally got it more correct when they came out with the 4.0.
