Feb 3, 2020 · Put simply, 20th Century Boys is genius work for those who enjoy mystery and psychological thrillers. This series surprisingly has me more glued than Monster did previously and I cannot wait to continue reading it. Verdict. Do not hesitate to read this series. Go and get it now!

20th Century Boys is a fantastic story and Viz’s production of the American release is stellar. They’re handsome books with French flaps, good paper, and a satin feel. I highly recommend.
Oct 13, 2009 · A tale of heroism and heroics, childhood dreams and growing up, good vs evil and confrontation, it spans a nice set of volumes and with detail, loads of dialogue and for here, the power of music, driven by T.Rex's 20th Century Boys. While the tale is a long one, it has the Urasawa style of taking it's time.
r/manga • 3 yr. ago. by Triaj. “20th Century Boys” Review. Monster was the first work by Naoki Urasawa I’ve ever read, and it was incredible. I read this one right after, and it was just as if not even more of an amazing experience. My only real complaint about 20th Century Boys that it’s really, REALLY long. 249 chapters to be exact.
SPOILER. Overall review and my thoughts on 20th century boys. SPOILERS AHEAD. Finished the manga and the spinoff one named 21st century boys. I really liked the series but the ending of the show kind of ruined my overall experience because you felt the series was leading towards some incredible reveal but that never came.
It is a masterpiece, one of the best protagonists and villain i have ever seen, also i appreciate the cultural references. The best part is that song "Bob Lennon", Urasawa composed the song for this manga. He is a genius frfr. 88 votes, 30 comments. 3.1M subscribers in the manga community.
