Aug 24, 2023 · Officially, 20th Century Fox no longer exists, having been rebranded to 20th Century Studios, but its logo history is still worth examining, especially as it's one of the best entertainment logos we know of.     1935–1968

    Typography: \tUnknown Launched: \tMay 31, 1935 The company was founded as 20th Century-Fox on May 31, 1935, as a result of a merger between the film companies 20th Century Pictures and Fox Film Corporation. The structure was introduced without any searchlights (despite the fact that the on-screen logo used them) in their first print logo.

    1945–1972

    The structure was discontinued in 1945 in favor of a simplified text.

    1972–1982

    The structure was reintroduced with an arch located above the structure. Typography: \tUnknown Launched: \tSeptember 6, 1972

    1986–2021

    Typography: \tFranklin Gothic Heavy (modified) Launched: \tUnknown The design of this logo is similar to before, with some differences, those being that the border has the rounded corners removed, the letters’ design was changed, extra pieces being added into the searchlights and the lines were added to distinguish the letters on the top row. The logo was last used on the 2021 Brazilian film Amarração do Amor, released on October 14, 2021.

    2020–present

    Typography: \tProxima Nova (modified) Launched: \tJanuary 17, 2020 On January 17, 2020, it was announced 20th Century Fox would be renamed to 20th Century Studios, following Disney's purchase of the company's assets the year prior and likely to avoid confusion with the now-separate Fox Corporation.
