It was created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, written by Shūkei Nagasaka and produced by Total Media Communication and 20th Century Fox Television, also commemorates the 60th anniversary of TV Asahi.
"24 Japan" takes over TV Asahi's Friday 23:15 time slot previously occupied by "Midsummer's Boy: 19452020" and followed by "If I'd Kissed Her" on April 30, 2021.
