The Western in its glory days was often a morality play, a story about humanist values penetrating the lawless anarchy of the frontier.

  7. 3:10 to Yuma is one of the year's best, to be honest, I'm thinking about the films this past year, and I would probably rank this as the number one movie. I was never really into western movies, except for the good, the bad, and the ugly, and unforgiven, but 3:10 to Yuma is a guaranteed classic.
