The Millennium 4/4P speakers are 8 ohms so it is safe to wire either in parallel or series. If factory wiring is present in your Miata, it is usually parallel. We do not recommend driving the headrest speakers with more than 15 or 20 watts as that can overdrive the speakers as well as cause hearing damage.

When installing them, I noticed a couple of problems. * The ones from 3rd Millennium are too deep. The door check rod hits the back of the baffle. This will eventually puncture. * The baffles need air holes. Without the baffle the speaker has free movement, but with the baffle the speaker moves with difficulty.
