Hands down one of the best car stereo options for the Miata is the Kenwood KAC-M1824 Bluetooth amplifier. It will work in conjunction with the stock headunit and integrate BT connectivity straight to your phone. It also has great power for convertibles. I’ve had mine for about a year and can’t say enough good things about it.
Worldly_External3392. MOD. Anyone using 3RD Millennium speakers in their N.A.? NA. I want to upgrade the door and headrest speakers in my 1997 Miata. Has anyone tried the replacement speakers from 3RD Millennium. They claim to be exact fit and higher quality than my OEMs. Looks easy to install as well.
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has tried out the 3rd millennium headrest speaker retrofit kit, since mine is an M-edition I have different circular type speakers versus the normal rectangular ones. Also the 3rd millennium M-800 speakers. Any experiences? Or just any other advice I can use to make the audio in my Miata better, I have a 97 M.
New speakers make all the difference, man. I upgraded my door speakers and was happy with the results but felt like it could be more. So I pulled the seats out and put speakers in the headrest pockets and made my own harnesses for all of the wiring. Headrest speakers really do help out a lot. It's amazing how clear they are.
