I've been doing a lot of reading about the direct speaker replacement offerings by Clearwater and 3rd Millennium, but I have yet to see a clear winner between the two. Does anyone have experience with both of these?
Mar 8, 2010 · Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has tried out the 3rd millennium headrest speaker retrofit kit, since mine is an M-edition I have different circular type speakers versus the normal rectangular ones.
From what I read, the plug & play options (Clearwater and 3rd Millenium) are good but not great. Non-dedicated speakers with sufficient power will probably sound a lot better but it's more work.

I want to upgrade the door and headrest speakers in my 1997 Miata. Has anyone tried the replacement speakers from 3RD Millennium. They claim to be exact fit and higher quality than my OEMs.
