Big_Daddy_PDX. • 5 yr. ago. A) it’s an open top convertible so sound quality isn’t really possible. B) you have to have amplifier sound to get a decent threshold - so NO - the stock head isn’t going to power higher wattage speakers well. Hands down one of the best car stereo options for the Miata is the Kenwood KAC-M1824 Bluetooth amplifier.
