Synopsis. Lily Brannel James, an aspiring model, sets out from her small hometown in Kansas to New York City to apply to the Thomas Caraway Model Agency. After she is hired by Tom Caraway, Lily is befriended by a former top Caraway model, Mary Ashlon, who advises her on the rules of the business.
