A Witness Tree is a living tree that existed during the time of a historical event. Garry Adelman details the famous tree on Cemetery Ridge at Gettysburg that lived through the events of Day 2 and Day 3 of the battle. The coordinates for the tree are 39.810021, -77.236115.
