   • It's a huge park, as it takes up two city blocks: There is West Alameda and East Alameda Park. At the East park you have Kid's world, with excellent play equipment and public restroom. At the West park it is more mellow. The only drawback is that Santa Barbara domicile-challenged people like to hang out at the West park, too.

    Alameda Park is in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, It is a large park, extended across a couple of blocks. Over the years, we've visited the park a lot, for a vareity of events and activities. We started as a young couple dating, hanging out with friends, having picnics, playing croquet, and cooling off in the shade after the Solstice Parade.
