May 12, 2024 · Hollyoaks star Ali Bastian has revealed in an emotional video to fans that she's quit acting and is leaving the UK. The actress, who joined the Channel 4 soap back in 2001 and left in 2007 when her character Becca Dean was killed off, has moved to Ireland after suffering "major burn out" from London life and a difficult second pregnancy.
