  2. Dec 27, 2005 · Almost a Lady was super exciting and well written the entire way through until the end. It was a bit like the author reached a word limit and the carefully developed plot and romance, which had been slowly building up the whole time, very suddenly got wrapped up in an anti-climatic way which left a lot of loose ends.
